At the store... I was in Macys trying on some of the Demetrios dresses I had on my list and we saw this one... NOTHING like what I was looking at prior. So I tried it on... four times!

On an LIW bride! It was exactly what I had envisioned, so I found out who it was by and went the next day to try it on. It was perfect, so I bought it. The End.

I first saw it on the knot, but didn't really 'see' it. I wasn't looking for that cut/style. Then while trying on another Maggie Sotero at the store, the lady helping me just handed it to me and told me to try it (I had been trying on ball gowns). So at first I was making her happy, but when she had me all clamped and put a veil on my head, I saw myself and started crying! And that was it!

the one i ultimately got i seen for the first time in a bridal store and it wasn't even one that i liked on the rack and passed it over a few times, then i tried it on and knew that it was the one

I saw mine on the hanger at Macy's Bridal in Manhasset, and I didn't even like it at first!! The saleswoman encouraged me to try it on, and I'm so glad I did...it turned out to be so amazing!! I feel like royalty in it.

I found it online, then I called every single bridal salon on LI that carried the designer to find it. I fell in love with it immediately. I tried on about a dozen other dresses, but I just kept comparing them to that very first dress.

I tried mine on in San Francisco while meeting up with FH who was on a business trip. He was bored and came into the dressing room and loved it too (sorry I am not very traditional). I havent purchased it yet but Ive tired on like 60 gowns so pretty sure I will buy that one - just waiting for a trunk show to get a discount

I 'imagined it' as weird as it sounds, it's true. Then I scoured the internet until I found a picture that screamed 'it'...and my mom made the actual dress.

Where did everyone FIRST see their gown?? Was it in a bridal store, picture, on someone else!, or anything else??

I first saw mine in Bridal Reflections being tried on by another bride. I patiently waited until she took it off so I could try it on!!
I wonder if most people see a pic, like it, find it, try it on, and then buy or try on dresses in a store and go from there....

I got mine at Bridal reflections too!!! The woman helping me actually picked mine out... I went in looking for something completely different. Who makes yours? Do you have a pic??

I saw mine in a bridal magazine. I looked online and saw they carried it at RK Bridal. Someone else was trying it on so I tried on a few others and picked one I liked and then when it was available, I tried it on and it was perfect!!!

David's Bridal - I walked in knowing I didn't want strapless, so my FMIL and BM went to the racks and grabbed 5 dresses. I chose the first dress that FMIL picked out and that was the dress. I tried all the others on, but nothing compared!
