uloveit22, my FMIL is going to an anniversary party there on the 28th . I am curious to get a full report on both of the affairs. I am so excited. So far we have 129 yes, and 10 no replies. We expect about 145-150 as a final head count. I am getting so anxious! We have been engaged for 2 years and I cannot believe how fast the days are flying.

i agree with shamma if i had to do it again i would pick cb for sure. i had a great time and felt that i was the only wedding going on even though there were others at the time. chris from perfect wedding planner is a doll and so are the bridal attendants lauren and holly. good luck to all you cb girls and im here if you have any questions

Princess-just curious, do you know how many parties CB does at one time?? I am asking becasue you said your FMIL has an anniversary party, my cousin is having her e-party, and my sisters boyfriend will be at a wedding...all the same night! (I will make sure he takes notes too!)I am glad to hear that your engagment flew by...I feel like our wedding day is so far away! Everyone says it goes so fast but it still feels like a million years away! Good Luck!

I think they stagger the parites there so they are an hour and a half apart, that way no one sees the other guests from the other parties.We were engaged for 2 years and it never seemed like it was going to get here. Another bride on this board told me to enjoy it, and I took her advice and ignored all the people asking me why a 2 year engagement, and it got here so fast!

Do any former CB brides have pics of the menu cards or place cards? If no pics, what were they like? Sloppy? Nice? I am trying to decide if I am going to have to make them myself or rely on them to do it.Thanks!!!!!

I am bumping this thread again!!!I am having this conversation with myself cause no one wants to talk about CB with me!!!
I am going tonight cause we owe them some $. I am going to ask again about the chair covers. They promised they would have some by the time I get married. I know its 9 months away but does anyone have any info on this? Maybe someone thats getting married before me? If I have blue chairs I am going to be so mad!!!!

They do have chair covers. Last time I was there they told me they could do it for a small fee. I didn't even bother asking because I knew that I couldn't afford it!!!

A SMALL FEE!?!?!? Someone is going to die tonight when I go over there because they told me that there wouldnt be any extra charges!! Arent they re-doing most of the place?

Here's the deal with the chair covers - when I went there we asked about them and they said that either we could hire our own company to come in and do it, OR they could arrange for them with their company. Either way, you're paying for it (unless you convince them to eat it). But they don't do it automatically (many reception halls don't, some do though). They also said that because of the decor and color of the rooms, chair covers don't really match (in their opinion I guess) and end up blending in too much with the tablecloths so many people don't get them. I didn't end up getting them either, and everything looked great. I don't remember what color my chairs were, but they weren't blue! FYI I was in the DaVinci room. Good luck and let us know what they say!

Just found out that they would be $6-$9 per chair from the company they use! That's way too much for me. Who's really going to notice the chairs anyway....except us!!!

Yikes - I dont know what the deal is but I am mad!!!! We are in the Saturnia so we have the blue chairs. I hate them!!! I dont know if they were going to give me covers or they were getting entirely new chairs in neutral covers.I shall report back tomorrow!

I'm getting married there next WEEK and I did order chair covers through the finishing touch bc i HATED the blue chairs. BTW...just so you folks know, they are going to be changing the rugs soon...which makes the place even nicer. Unfortunately they wont be doing it in time for my wedding.
