Re: Let's have an official Chateau Briand thread....

If anyone has pictures to share please FM or post them.

Im going to look at the place on Wednesday.
Ive been to 12 places already.

Woodbury Country Club is one of my options right now. But I wanted something with alittle more pazzaz...

If anyone has anything to share that would be great.

Reception - Saturnia.....

We too had the reception in the Saturnia and the CH in the Europa! The Europa is GORGEOUS IMO!!!!!

We took pics at a park by our house but we also took some in the Monet Room. Trust me, those pictures are absolutely beautiful! We are lucky to have that room between the beautiful paintings, the fireplace, the piano, its so nice.

we invited 200 and had 160 show up. I think the maximum is 180 or so. What room did they give you?

Normandy for 200 people, so I see why they didnt offer it.

HB, did they throw in any extras for you?

No they didnt. BUT at the last minute they changed our CH to the Europa. We were ecstatic about this because it was originally supposed to take place in the Promende which is small and ugly in comparison.

Ceremony: Lenonardo DiVinci/
Cocktail: Europa
Reception: Saturnia

So far I haven't booked any Scotto Brothers Vendor. I went to the tea party and I felt like they made these outrageous horror stories about outside vendor, which I thought was ridiculious. Their house vendor (most) are very expensive. I researched vendors on my own and got more reasonable prices.

Who was the banquet manager you meet with? We got chair covers and the ice sculpture included our package at no additional cost.
