Re: Let's post rings!
Honestly, I would get a band to wear on my other hand. Hiding that filigree detail would be a crime.

Thanks! He did a pretty great job picking this one out... but i don't know if he'll go for wearing the wedding band on the other finger!

It is a cushion, isn't it Randella? It looks like it might be yellow--is it a canary colored stone? Gorgeous!

Yes! It's a brilliant cushion cut.. It's not yellow-- either my ring is very dirty, or the lighting sucks.. I have tried with like 3 different cameras to get a good shot of my ring-- it's so hard!
My FH did a great job-- but he did have a lot of what I like to call 'creative direction'!!!
I love it though! I Have started to look for bands-- I'll need to wear my e-ring on my right hand since the antique shape makes it hard to pair a band with it- I would need one of those curved bands.. but, I want to get something kinda funky-- it's easier to separate them.

Re: Let's post rings!
Oh, it is not dirty -- just lighting -- rememebr the object your are photographing is reflecting all that light back at the camera. It is beautiful. I know what you are saying about the ring on the other hand -- I really wanted to wear (and am still hoping to figure out a way to wear) my Eng ring and Wring on same hand but the emerald shape of the center stone rubs up against bands. So I will be looking for something to match but expect I will need to do other hand. What about matching antique pave all around -- the setting is so gorgeous that you could highlight that.

I just typed up this WHOLE thing to you- then IE crashed! Hate that-- anyway- here is a pic of one of the wedding bands I am considering..
Also- i put in am example of a curved one- this may work for you if you are always going to wear your rings together-- your center stone of your ering goes over the curve-- if you want to see more- I'll give you a few web sites to check out- to get a sense of what is out there..

Re: Let's post rings!
But mine is not round -- it is an emerald cut so I am not sure if that would work?

I think it would.. I don't think it matters what cut your ring is.. it is more about the setting. And the curves can either be slight, or more drastic.
I really think you would need to look aroud, try them on with your ring and see if it works if it is something you are interested in.
