Re: Let's post rings!
Cool, thanks! My ring is really so underdone in terms of style -- just a excellent quality, fairly large center stone -- and the ring people keep telling me that when you have a stone like that the thing to do is let it stand on its own...have nothing compete...it is pretty amazing to look at, I must say. So I am vaccilating on whether to just let it make its own statement.

Re: Let's post rings!
I think you should look around and try stuff on-- you have plenty of time to casually look in stores..I think wedding bands are the same as dresses-- you may have an idea of what you want, but after you try on a few you change your mind..
If it's important to you to wear them together the curved band may be a good option.
Check out these site-- I mostly see them on antique jewelry sites, as that is always what I am looking at..

Re: Let's post rings!
I agree. Thing is, I cannot pull off an antique band, this is such a geometric and modern looking cut; do you know what I mean?

I totally know what you mean- but they may have more modern styles.. I've only looked at antique- but if you are having problems with your contemporary ring-- I am sure they have curved bands that match.
I really think you need to look around. Or get something custom made.

This isn't my ring but it's the closest pic I could find since mine is an antique. The setting in the pics is the same but my center stone is round 2 carats.

Re: Let's post rings!
this is my second engagement ring. First one, I lost while baking and cleaning-threw it out in the garbage by mistake. This one, I only wear when I go out:). It is a 3.09 ct. F color, VVS1 with bag on sides. I am afraid of losing it, so I don't even take it out, but this is from a website from cartier

Re: Let's post rings!
I hope this picture loads, or else there will be a lot of edited posts on my part...first, I must say- You ladies have some pretty big ROCKS! Lucky girls! Since my FH and I are both teachers, I knew what my limits were as far as my e-ring SO, I decided to use the diamond I inherited from my partents' divorce, and have my FH spend his cash on a unique band from Tacori! Although, I was nervous with him picking it out himself, he picked out my most favorite one! I love my ring so much- but like the others have said, this picture doesn't do it justice...
:)
ok, after three attempts, I am having no luck postint the pick~ ugh!

Thanks! He did a pretty great job picking this one out... but i don't know if he'll go for wearing the wedding band on the other finger!
Wear the e-ring on your right hand. It would be a shame to hide any of the detail. Mine is also detailed (no pics) and I don't want to hide it, not sure what we're going to do.
