i used to think i didn't know...but reading all of your responses, i totally know when and where and how it was.

tho it's private, it made me realize how awesome he is!

i think we ALL are lucky girls...and of course how lucky OUR guys are TOO!!!

(yes, i am on the computer at 2 am - don't drink two cups of coffee at 11:30 - don't do it!)

ps - funny, FH will be up in two hours to go to work and i'll probably be just getting to sleep - at least southpark is on!)

I knew when we started dating for the second time around. It just clicked we were always inseparable and the whole relationship was just easy we did not have to work at anything. After six months we moved in together and I just knew he was the one! I cant explain the feeling you just know!

I was just wondering about everyone's experience.

I think I realized it after our 1st or 2nd date. He was so different than any guy that I had dated...WHICH WAS A GOOD THING!!

I actually told my brother's girlfriend (who is like a sister to me) very early on that this was the person I was going to marry...very cliche...but here we are!

I love my FI so much...he treats me so well and I can;t wait to marry him

I guess you can say it was good ol' fashion love @ 1st sight! We have been together now for about 9 1/2 years.....

...When we spent our first vacation together (about two months into our relationship)...I had gotten seriously sick the first morning and had to be taken to the emergency room...

when we got there I had to wait in the waiting room...and to make things even worse I couldn't walk from the pain, I had to be put into a wheelchair. I was shivering, in pain and crying...he was trying to calm me down......he wheeled me to the bathroom, helped me get from the wheelchair to the toliet bowl...lol held my hair back when I was getting sick, washed my face for me...almost got kicked out when the triage nurse was being overly RUDE because he asked how much longer until I could be admitted...

I was so embarrassed for having him see me like this...he just knealt right in front of me and told me that I was beautiful...I knew right then and there that I loved this man and that I would never let him go...

I know that he was the one when I saw him with his grandfather. About a week into our relationship his grandfather got sick and had to go to the ER. My FH made sure that his grandfather came to were I worked so I could take care of him. It impressed me so much that no matter what he never left his grandfather's side and was more then willing to help him with anything he needed. I though that it was the sweetest thing.

Me and My FH met on the LIRR. I knew fate had brought us together. But things took a turn for the worst and we split up for 8 months. He came back to me and stole me from my now ex-boyfriend. I knew he was the one b/c I could never think about being unfaithful to him and I could never lie to him. Until this day its hard for me to even tell a white lie. Plus he is the perfect most family-oriented guy I have ever met.

WELL way back in the day when i worked in Modell's He worked there also .. I think i worked there for like 3 days and my manger had me do the window display because i was going to school for Fashion Mer. and fh helped me that day to do the window display.lol

when i came home i could not stop talking about him .. that was when i realized it !!!!

the next day my mom came in the store to see what he looked like and she said the same thing lol

after 2 or 3 weeks of working there we started dating lol . and we lived happily every after lol

Two weeks after we became a couple I graduated beauty school he took me to dinner at my favorite restaurant in BayRidge so that my family could through me a surprise party at home. That's when I started to realize he was really special but on Valentines Day he filled my new apartment with all the silly things I couldn't afford to buy, like steak knives a coffee and cappaucino maker and snack tables since I had no room in my tiny apt. for a table so we were holding our plates on our laps Then back to my favorite restaurant in Bay Ridge for dinner, roses and candy. So now I new I loved him but it wasn't until I came home from working a double (he was babysitting for me ) and found my apt. filled with candles my little snack tables set up for two with a bottle of wine and a unbelievable dinner he made me, oh yeah and the kids were sleeping. This was when I knew I wanted to spend forever with him.

I have to say I know it more and more every day. it asn't a one moment thing, it's ongoing. We're best friends and lovers and every moment with him is a gift and I appreciate that gift more and more!
