Re: Let's start a Beach/Nautical Favors thread!

Here are some cute things I have come up with. For the Bridesmaids I am going to give them there gifts in monogramed beach bags, for the little ones that are involved with the wedding we are going to give them little their gifts in a sand bucket. As for place cars I am up in the air with 3...message in a bottle with their names on a tag on the bottle, the shell ones below and I saw in a magazine a cute one where they wrote the names actually on large shells that they then put sticking up in the sand. I thought it looked really great but I would imagine it being quite difficult to do. Below are some other cute ideas I came across.

These are all really cute. We decided on ice cream scoops. If we have the money I want to get shell candy to put in the scoops.

That's a good idea! Another idea to consider are little shell charms. If you were wrapping the ice cream scoops with ribbon or putting a bow on them, you can thread the ribbon through these little shell charms. I found them at www.thebestofjeanm.com

I think they are so cute. You'll find them under the 'ribbons and adornments' link on her site.

They are $16 for 25

These are my favors (they are candleholders). I am going to tie the placecards to them (I'm not lighting the candles):

Re: Let's start a Beach/Nautical Favors thread!

Here are some more pics that I've collected.

The second pic is of our favor. They are glass replicas of deck prisms from the old sailing days and come in a cute canvas bag. They make good paperweights or sun catchers.
