LI Venues

Hi ladies!!

I am new to this blog :)Congrats to all! Looking into a 2017 wedding. My fiance is going to be traveling a lot in 2016 for work, so we are hoping to lock in a venue by July. Thoughts on some venues?

So far I have looked into the wineries ( crazy site fees) Bourne Mansion and Carlyle on the Green. Hoping to keep it in the 30's for venue ( 150 people), but I am seeing that it seems avg wedding is going to be at least 50k - feeling stressed :(

Would love to hear your thoughts/feedback!

You are so sweet - thank you!!

He proposed where we met 7 years ago- Hofstra University. It was amazing! My dream is to get married at mansion type of setting on LI but with our budget ( we are paying for majority of wedding) I don't think we can do that- so we are thinking outside of the box because at the end of the day, we are still going to have an amazing day. :)

Congrats! I think I mentioned I would send you quotes on the other forum, but in case you read this one first, you have FM with all of my quotes (15 venues total. UGH!) They are all within the last two months. Happy searching!

Yes I did its 185 pp..you have to pay for valet and service and I believe up lighting...I was there for a wedding... The food was good and they have an after party
