Kate - I have quotes - $850 per night w/20% off for M-Th stays...NOT INCLUDING MEALS! Modified plan (B&D only) is another 125 pp per day. Even with the discount, its the same as going to Sandals including airfare!

Very nasty - and something important to consider. I always close my window when driving to the airport......

Right now, I'm trying to figure a budget and just wanted to know a rough estimate for someone to make a BM dress. ROUGHLY, do you know what it would cost for the labor of making it...if I brought all the fabric, thread, zippers, pattern, lining, etc. to a seamstress??? (Is it like $50 or like $150 for the labor???) I'm figuring a full lenghth dress, but nothing too complicated.

Keep me posted on your info and I'll do the same. Obviously, we have similar tastes in this area....I'm going to call our travel agent on Monday and ask if there are any nice spa facilities in warm areas of the US that we could go to. The 4 hour flight + 2 hour commute to the resort is a little daunting. I commute enough during the week! So Jamaica may not be an option for us either. Karen: I think we are definetely going to South Seas Resort on Captiva Island in the Keys area. It looks like a blast, inexpensive and fun! You can fly into Ft. Meyers. Somone told me it was beautiful. Check it out.
