We all have different reasons... I did it for privacy initially. But I don't mind too much now.

DH had a pyscho ex-gf that he dated 6 years ago (& only dated- mind you for like 7 months) & she googled him 4 months before our wedding, found our engagement announcement on LIW & was threatening to crash the wedding, amongst other things. So I kept most of the answers blank - in case she tried to call up certain vendors & says she was me & try to Eff something up for my special day - I wasnt going to let that crazy bi-atch know ANYTHING. Once the wedding was over then I filled in the info b/c then there was nothing she could do at that point.

I just cleared everything as well :0( and took most of our pictures down!! although I don't think there are stalkers out there, you never know!

Somewhat new to the boards and I have a question. I've noticed that some people in their profiles list their specific vendors and other just write 'booked' or 'someone I love'.
Just wondering the people who don't get specific if there is a reason not to that I am not thinking about.

I read on another post where a Bride was date twins with another bride and she wanted the RH that the other bride had--the bride ended up calling the RH pretending to be the bride that already had the RH booked requesting to CANCEL the hall! Only because she wanted the RH.
So you have to beware of the info you divulge on here because at the end of the day we really don't KNOW each other and some of us are just giving too much info to strangers.

Say whatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt???????

I was a lurker for many months and saw a lot of users getting profiles deleted, and a lot of fiascos with brides going at it w cancelling each other's vendors and stuff. I was hestitant to become an active poster.

This is why I don't have any pictures or real info on mine. FWIW, my wedding date may not even be Oct. 8th. I have seen LIW brides on here with totally fake profiles and dates like Tuesday evening weddings, so you have to wonder...

You just have to be cautious because you don't know what Bridezillas are out there these days who are out to get you because of something you wrote that rubbed them off the wrong way..

Exactly! No pics of me on here!!!! Its too much. I know we are all excited to be brides getting married--yadda yadda yadda! But the reality is-is that there is CRAZY people out here and anyone can come on here becuz its not private.
I people putting pics of their home on here?? would you invite complete strangers into your home to see what you have> So why on a Website?

DH's baby mama is a psycho b!tch and I didnt want her finding out anything about our wedding, So I just wrote booked or left it blank. After my wedding I filled in all the info so if any brides to be had questions they could ask me.
