I got tickets to tomorrow's US Open Event - not just tickets, but like BOX tickets through my company with the 'big wigs' b/c my SINGLE friend woh's a female is completely obsessed with Tennis. She was so excited, and we made plans to have bkfst together, go to the match, and then do a little shopping afterwards.

Great Right? It doesn't matter that I had to go through seven million people - including Moses, God, and Johovva to get these tickets.

She calls me six seconds ago and goes 'I'm so excited, Mike (name changed b/c she might be lurking - good if you're reading this!) just called me and I'm going to Ikea in NJ to help him pick out furniture tomorrow, what do you think I should wear?' w t f....you're serious right? she's completely AWARE how I basically broke my back to get these tickets and i don't even LIKE TENNIS...for her!

And you're DITCHING me to go furniture shopping with a guy you met on a bus, known for three weeks exactly, and is using you as booty call (only calls her at 1am to hang out at his house).....

Never once in my life as a single girl did I EVER cancel plans on anyone to hang out with a guy!

A former close friend did something similar to me and we hardly speak anymore over it. The funny part is she broke up with the guy within a few months

I am sorry to hear she responded that way.

Well now you know she will always be that way!

There are some people that just care about guys more! I have a friend that I cannot depend on if her boyfriend says break plans she does, if we have plans to do anything (even something like that she would ditch me) that's the way it would be.

I don't want to lose her as a friend but I know not to go out of my way like I normally do for friends because when it comes down to it if I needed her she wouldn't be there if he said no you can't go. Or in your situation if I went out of my way for her she would do that to me!

It is totally wrong and I would never do that to anyone, I just don't understand how people do this to people (but many do).

I would really be pissed, I know how I am and this seems like you really pulled strings for her I probably would ditch her as a friend (not saying you should, it's just what I would do).

WOW, that is horrible. I think I would freak if my good friend did that to me. What happened to 'Bros before Hos'???? Well you know what I mean.

Awww Christine...I'm so sorry! That whole situation was just wrong on soooo many levels. I guess now you know where you rate on her priority scale. Funny to think that you're the one planning the wedding and still you found the time for her. What you were planning on doing for her was incredibly sweet it just s*cks that she was too selfish to appreciate it. Hope 'Mr. Met him on the bus' was worth it for her sake.

I would not talk to her for awhile. I have had friends do things like this to me, and I know how it feels. Some girls are so blind (1am call to hang out).

So sorry Chris! She's definitely not worth the trouble. Qiana was right that she'll be without the booty call in a few and will coming running back to you. You're a good friend and don't need to put up with that! F her- she is not worth of your friendship. Hey, I'll come to the wedding and actually be able to enjoy a FH event since mine will be over!
