I really like the trial - I think you look gorgeous. Perhaps you can ask her to work with a few different colors - less of the same tone. But I do think you do have a 'glow' in the trial pics.

I totally agree with the 'glow',,, Denise, you are toooooooo cute!!!!
i have to stand up in the face of adversity here
i LOVE the way the eyes look. i think they are so natural, and they have a hint of something that just makes your eyes sparkle 
but i do think that with the cheeks and the lips.. she tried to keep it TOO much in line with your hair color. I think that she needs to be more of a risk taker, and step outside of those 'peachy' boundaries.
but, you look Beautiful
how do YOU feel about the colors she chose?? and what kind of look were you going for??

Thanks for all the help girls! I'll take it all into consideration.I did get the airbrush. The colors looked better in person (like the lip color was definitely more rosey). I noticed a littleflaked off and I feel some bumps on my skin that weren't there before. Maybe that means no airbrush for me.
My mom called me to let me know she had a very bad allergic reaction to the makeup (she has very sensitive skin). She kept sneezing until it was all off and now her face keeps getting very red. I feel bad.

to Mom & lots of KleenexTell her try some pure Aloe Vera gel on her face that may help !!!

i agree with 'the glow' too - your face looks radiant! but i also think that the colors may be a bit too... neutral. they all match your face and hair very well, which is nice, but it doesn't make for much contrast. maybe add some pink tones?

I think your pictures look beautiful but I would have to agree that something other than 'peachy' would look great on you. I love the way you do your own makeup.

It's ok but I woul go with something a bit more dramatic. I think it's to plain. I like the way you do your make up.

I agree. The eyes look gorgeous!!! I would change the lipstick color. Was this Oksana? I love the lashes!

I always say that more drama around the eyes is better - but I think there is just enough (she used lashes right?)And I think the colors do work with your skin. I think it is definately more glam than the way you wear your every day make up - which, to me, is how it should be. 100% glamour queen for your day.....IMHO
If you changed the colors like some people suggested - what would you change them to? Speaking as a fellow red head - 'cool' colors don't always work - so you have to stay in the warm peaches and browns, right? I think the colors work well.

Wow, I disagree with so many girls. I really REALLY like what #2 did with your eyes -- but for the lower face (cheek and lip) I prefer your handiwork. You are so pretty with the fab hair color!
I thought it was just me!! I love it! I like the eyes a lot. I would possibly use different shades of blush and lipstick, maybe not so orangy but other than that, I think it looks great!

Does JN do lashes? She didn't even ask me... but she did a great job on them and they look almost as good as fakes!!

I LOVE the eyes and the way your skin glows. But I like Azad's lipstick add-in better- it pops a little more. Overall, you look beautiful!

I think I'd change it to more of a mauve. A little more rosey tint to it, but not pink really. Not sure if I'm explaining it well. I think I need to give my face a rest for at least a few days now. My mom oh the other hand needs longer than that!

i would try a deep purple as a liner, with a more neutral mauve in the crease. i don't work for MAC but they have good colors:sketch or beauty marked for liner
trax or shale in the crease
yogurt (love this color!) or brule or bisque for an all-over base.
hightlight with a sheer frosty color like vellum.
i do like the blush you have in the picture, maybe a little less contour and more apple-of-the-cheek color. and i would emphasize your pretty eyes more by the deeper colors above and use a sheer light pink lip color with maybe a little bit satin finish and shine.
have fun trying on more make-up styles!! you're so pretty you really can't go wrong.
