Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces
I've seen gorgeous centerpieces with fish in them, but I think if you use them, you need to make sure you have some kind of tropical, sea theme going on, otherwise it'll look tacky....I love the martini glass idea too!

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces
I really like them I like the pink/red colored one, the beer one I will not show to FH cause then he will want them!! With the fish a florist told me that they would have containers or bags or something for them to take them home in, but I don't know how many people would actually want to take them home. I was also thinking something more simple like water maybe colored with floating candles & rose petals. Do you think this is too plain?

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces
Martini CP's are so pretty. I have seen many girls do this. YOu can fill the glass with any color liquid of your choice and place flowers on top or just fill the whole glass with flowers in a big martini glass

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces
I am doing a Martini glass centerpiece... I am using Pedestals! If you go to their website, and you look at Gallery 2 and the picture that's 5th from the bottom, that's basically what I am doing... It's a large martini glass with flowers around the bottom and inside it, and then I am doing votive candles and rose petals around it! I'm going to see a sample in July... so I will definately post those pictures for you after that!

We're doing these at our cocktail hour.
We're just gonna have water in them with a floating flower and candle in them, very simple but very cute!

I personally think these are adorable! I'm not big on the idea of fish being in front of people eating..I HATE Chinese restaurants that have those huge coy that swim around in front of you. Jericho Terrace has a coy pond and I was revolted by this! Yuck, stay away from live things lol JMO
