these are from 1 800 flowers for some inspiration!

I personally think these are adorable! I'm not big on the idea of fish being in front of people eating..I HATE Chinese restaurants that have those huge coy that swim around in front of you. Jericho Terrace has a coy pond and I was revolted by this! Yuck, stay away from live things lol JMO

I love the coy pond there...also last time i checked my guests weren't eating in front of the coy pond in the lobby

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces

My cousin did them for her friends engagement party and she made gel candles out of them. The fish sound cool but the question really is what will happen to the fishies after?

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces

My cousin even had little 'olive' candles sitting in the gel. She had a New York New York theme. The tables were names after different NY sites

my friend got married at the vinyard and used the martini glasses. she put a mirror on under the glass and put 3 floating candles in water. it was very classy and looked great!

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces

I don't think fish is a good idea. I don't think animals should be used for decoration and with good reason. I've heard of this being done and the fish were belly up by the end of the night. I think flowers and/or floating candles will be much better.

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces

Those flowers are all very cool! Every florist we talked to before we decided to book one all steered us away from the fish. They said they would put one in a vase on the card table which is just as nice, I guess.

Re: Martini Glass Centerpieces

I used them for my cousin's briday shower....we actually tinted the water to be pink and then used floating flower candles and put flower petals along along the table at the base.....very pretty. You can buy them cheap at AC Moore or Michaels.

I want to do my centerpieces with large martini glasses but I don't know what to do with..FH wants to put fish in them but I'm not sure if I want to do that. What do u guys think? Or is anyone doing some type of centerpiece with martini glasses? If anyone has any type of ideas please let me know thanks!!!

We're doing these at our cocktail hour.

We're just gonna have water in them with a floating flower and candle in them, very simple but very cute!

I was thinking of the same thing...
