Lisa If you get any would you mind sharing?? When I went to our photographer I saw a lot of pictures from the Cottage and it made me realize that I now want to go to a park in between-- all of the milleridge pics had a building/something in the background--there werent any real nature shots so I would def love to see more pictures to get ideas Laura

Does anyone know where I can order a specific style CACHET (brand) dresses from?

Sure thing, although I haven't gotten any response yet and I posted a while ago. When's your wedding? Mines next April. I'd love to find some place near the water to take shots. Let me know if you hear of anything and vica versa. Thans for the input re buildings in photos-good to know!

4-28-01 is our date-- Def would love some water shots-- our photographer said something about Rosyln Park-- but I have never been there Will keep you updated When in April are you ? what have you accomplished? Laura

Laura,

Ours is April 7, 2001. So far, we just have the church and reception hall secured and have a pre-cana date set. I went this weekend and think I found my dress and my bridesmaid dresses at Lillette's in Baldwin. But haven't actually put any money down yet. How about you?

I also heard that Westbury Gardens is beautiful for photos but they charge you about $250 for one hour.

Heard about Westbury Gardens-- but that is crazy the money that is We have the place/church/photo/video and are now working on the band-- I am waiting on the dress shopping until this summer-- I have been looking but nothing serious so far-- Havent' asked the bridal party yet so no dress shopping there yet either!!! Laura

Laura, It does seem expensive. I am beginning to ask my friends to be in the party. I am too impatient and just can't wait. I am starting to look into photographer/videographer. Who are you using??

We have decided to go with Cassarino-- they are the studio that did all the pictures at the milleridge-- they came highly recommended by someone i met on here and we were extremely impressed with them www.cassarinostudios.com there work is fabulous-- plus the negatives are included in the package-- they threw in alot--much more than we thought they would and we ended up not having to pay sales tax--which saved bundles!! we also went with their videographer--and he took off on that price as well i would recommend looking at them-- we went to their queens office but there are i think 2 on LI-- we met with Dominic and he was great-- we were there for 2 hours looking at everything possible hope that helps laura

She did spend alot of time with me but since then when I have tryed to contact her she simply does not follow up and return my calls. I either got no answer, a machine, or her assistant, who doesnt speak english well. So I cancelled my wedding plans with her. I even left a message on her machine telling her I tryed calling and have left 5 messages on her machine and with her assistant and have been trying to get hold of her, even in person over a 2 month period and that it was important that she return my call and NOTHING! Maybe you will be happy with her, just wanted to tell you what happened with me,

Laura,

That definetly helps! My sister and I checked out Celestial photography and were shocked at the prices. $4,675 or something crazy like that. It did include a videographer but I still think it's a bit much for what we were getting. Who knows maybe they are all that expensive. (I hope not!)
