I was in Fantasia bridal and a women was trying on something similar to what you are describing. There is also small shop in Shoreham (Shoreham Bridal) that has a small selecton. I know I have seen what you are talking about but can't remember where.

I have been to these other two shops a few times that is why I think ti was there that I saw it.

I just remembered something.... the lady said it was discontinued... that would mean that it won't be on the internet!!

if it's discontinued they shouldn't keep it in the store for people to try on!!! You might still be able to find it. And they might have lied about it being discontinued.

she said my mom can buy the sample and she's thinking about it, but it's black and that is the ONLY color she DIDN'T want to wear, so we are seeing if any other stor has a sample in a different color.

If it was discontinued then it can still be ordered. If your mom loved it, my suggestion would be to try a few other places and see if they have it. If not ordering from Paradise wasn't the issue it was the alterations. She can order from them if she can find someone else to alter it.

My mom found a dress that she fell in love with and it is black. I have absolutely no problem with her wearing black. It has a like diamond broach thing on the front, and she is going to dress it up with really flashy jewelry to match from like Claires or something. I think it looks great on her and if you feel the same about your moms dress, then tell her to get it.
