i've seen in the bride mags that many lofts in the city will rent out, but you have to bring in catering etc...there's also some random art deco style place in massapequa, can't remember the name though
I could rattle off a rather long list of loft spaces, if that's what she's looking for. I went to see a few. I think it's a great, modern look and feel - very sexy and very different from LI weddings. Unfortunately, they're very pricey (often $3,000-$5,000 just to rent the room), so we couldn't afford to do it.

By the way, Tribeca Rooftop is not that expensive (for city standards). The price pp is $175 (on A Sunday night in October), the food included sushi, seafood bar etc....the Cocktail hour wasn't a lot of food and you only have salad and main dish, but it is still great modern place...

My brother got married at the Bryant Park Grille, nice and modern, overlooking the park. Cocktails on the roof if you want, the food was sooo good....

I like my RH, North Ritz Club. It's recently been redone and doesn't have that typical catering hall look. No mirrors, wacky carpets, funky lighting. Just a nice clubby look to the rooms.

Thank you girls!!!
She is in Brooklyn... So she is looking all over not just LI, I just new you guys would come up with tons of places!!!
Thanks!!!![]()
tell her to check out the Foundry in LIC. I LOVED it, but you have to deal with a caterer (I am too lazy)
I was also going to suggest the foundry...ANother great place in LIC is The Metropolitan Building.
I would also recommend Tribeca Rooftop.
I know someone who got married at Manhattan penthouse on 5th ave, beautiful view of the city.
Loft 11
Chelsea piers light house
But i know theres a new abigail kirsch location in Brookly and its supposed to be real great. Its called something like stage 6, ahhh cant remember
