MY FI IS GETTING ANNOYED WITH ME BEING ON LIWEDDINGS....

My FH says he doesn't see me anymore because of this. He asks, 'Who are you marrying? Me or LIWeddings'. lol He rolls his eyes whenever I grab the laptop. I tell him that since I'm planning EVERYTHING, I need support from the girls on LIWeddings, since I can't talk to HIM about favors and invitations. lol. I think that quieted him down a bit. I'll be on liweddings while we're watching t.v., and when I close the lapto and snuggle up with him, he's like, 'Do I know you?'. lol

At first he was a bit aggravated, but now it's just funny. And I showed him the groom's board to show him how there are guys out there who are into it. He thinks it's the 'woman's job' to plan the wedding.

But, like another bride just said, I DO catch him looking over at the screen every now and then!

Your FH will soon realize how valuable a resource LIWeddings really is. Just a few days ago our newly engaged groomsman called asking us about reception halls. Within 2 minutes I had a list of halls on LI that have price rances, seating capacities, amenities, etc. I was just able to send him a link from LIW. Not to mention all the help I got when planning my own wedding from this site. Believe me, if you show him that this site gives you a lot of vendor information, decorating ideas, etc, he'll be glad you're addicted!

mine HATES liw. not because of the site itself, but because i spend so much time on it. he has even blocked it from his computer before!! but i knew how to unblock it so that hasn't happened in a while

My FH gets annoyed at me, he says I am on the computer too much. They don't understand that we work all day and this is the only time that we have to plan for the wedding. He always tries to sneak up on me to see what I am posting. LOL.

I'm as interested in planning the wedding as my fiancee is. She and I signed up together (although I seem to feel the unrequited need to post)
