I'm so sorry; they really do become a part of the family. He did have a very long and I am sure happy life!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too have a puppy - she turns 5 this weekend. I hope and pray that she will live as long as your dog did. whenever you sad over your little pup, remember how much you loved him and cared for him and how very lucky you both were to be in each other's lives.I always say, dogs are little pieces of heaven :)
