Thank you. I'm so torn. I had just read yesterday a bride's review on Thomas Paul and I was blown away by the pictures. His website was stunning!
Unfortunately, I am supposed to sign contracts tonight with F ine Art, which I know will do an amazing job as well, but i'm torn.. arghhhhhhh! From what I hear they are priced about the same, but after seeing how Thomas Paul made those graphical changes to this Bride's pictures really stunned me. He made a run of the mill picture look like they were in a castle. Words can't describe....

I loved patken.. but being an OOT Bride i didnt like the way they selected a photographer for me and i wouldnt meet mine until my wedding day. I wanted my engagement shoot to be with 'my' photographer. Only reason i didnt book thou.

I didnt have a good experiece with TP but i heard Great things about him and i really do like his work

I booked with 12th night. I love them and thier work and thier prices are about the same as Thomas Paul. Their pictures are non-traditional which i love too... and even the shots that looked posed arent. They have a great eye! I would check them out. Dom and everyone there has been fabulous so far!

i'm surprised Patken did that to you. I'm not going with them, but they sell you on the premise that you are doing an engagement photo shoot to see who will be your photographer. I guess not. Thanks for the advice!!

I may just stick with F ine Art after all. It's just hard to see their reviews b/c they are blocked.

can i be honest, dont feel obligated to sign with anybody, even if they were real nice and they think you are going to book them. At the end of the day, this is your wedding and you have to LOVE your pics...theres been quite a few girls who booked a photographer right away and then later on cancelled their contract to hire another photographer bc it was something always on their mind. And you lose your deposit when you do this but alot of girls were willing to do it

Before booking any vendor make sure you do alot of research and find one you love.

Its funny but i had seen F Ine art at a bridal show, the guy talked to me for almost an hour, he was so nice. It was only a few short months of me being engaged and i wasnt really on LIW yet. I had made an appt with him but thank god it was made for weeks after i saw him at the bridal show bc of conflicting schedules. Well i came on LIW and saw someone post their day after pics with Angelica glass and i fell in love i also did research on many other photographers during this time and many photographers i saw on here that i didnt know about before. But i still loved AG the most, i cancelled my appt with F ine art. Yes he was extremely nice, the pictures were beautiful and i do think he thought i was gonna book with him, but in the end i had to make sure i was happy with the work and not book someone just bc they expected me to.

No, you're abosolutely right! He was nice, but I committed b/c I loved his work. However, Thomas Paul's work does seem a little more edgy and I like that too.
