not quite white

I too chose Diamond White, and I LOVE it. Its perfect for me since white looks a little stark on me, but I have olive-tone skin and ivory brings out the yellow. I also thought it would be hard to match, but wasnt at all -its also alot more forgiving to needing EXACT match. I also found pearly white leather shoes to match, which I love!!

What color tux shirts are going with?

not quite white

Hi,

I also got a Diamond white a-line wedding gown. I had no problem finding a matching head piece. I also found a great hand bag at Estells thats covered with pearls. Its not so stark, and I am also fair with dark blonde hair and I tend to look washed out in the white and dark cream colors. I liked the diamond white because you can get away with not having to even die your shoes to match, its a slight difference, but hard to tell at all.

Judy PS 12 days and counting!

Shoes

I had a hard time - wanted a good quality shoe. I found some nice Kenneth Cole shoes and would have spent the outragous sums that they were looking for IF I would have been able to wear them again....I turned Roosevelt Field on its ear - no good quality Ivory shoes that I could wear again (***my big problem was that I was looking in January. NOt a big selection for light colored shoes that time of year. You may be more successful now)

So I found a dyeable shoe in a store called "Dyeing for You" in Astoria (see prior post) and had them dye it to match my swatch. Shoe cost was $65 and they are incredibly comfortable!!!!

Shoes

I believe there is also one of these stores on Sunrise Hwy. in Lindenhurst for anyone in Suffolk.

Timerie, I do not know if this helps you, I have not been to a wedding at the BCC but I hosted an affair at Crystalbrook, which is in East Meadow. The food was out of this world the service incredible and although it is not much too look at once you are inside, the service and food are so good that you forget about everything else. people are still talking about the affair that I had there almost a year ago. With that said, let me tell you about the vendors that they use. Both places use the Crystalbrook wedding center in East Meadow. They did such a great job with the affair that I did at Crystal brook that I hired every single one of them to do my wedding, Video, DJ, Photo, and Florist who is actually Ken and Eva's flower cottage in Brentwood!! I highly recommend them.. even if you do not use BCC. hoe that this helps
