Re: NWR- but important to read if you are getting a new dog or cat soon

This is by far the BEST post I have EVER read on any web site.

I actually found it on Craigs and fowarded it to people I know. I have 5 cats... every single one of them rescued by Pet Adoption League (PAL) of Chicago; PAWS here on LI; and BY ME personally setting traps. When my latest who was only a little kitten was trapped, he had 4 other sibblings all very sick that I trapped and had adopted out through PAWS once they were well. All of my little babies are the most loving creatures in the world and live to be loved, played with and love us back.

Please spay and neuter your pets!!! And consider adoption as an option... You don't have to be a 'CRAZY CAT LADY' like me as I'm called at my job or even a 'CRAZY ANYTHING PERSON' to understand that there is a serious overpopulation problem in shelters, they don't deserve to die, they just don't have anyone to love them - I think especially b/c our society deems $$$ with better... so a breeder must be a better choice... funny my p's have a golden retriever with a green spotted tongue that they paid $2k for from a breeder!!! Yeah, a green spotted tongue... nice 'qualilty!' He's a good doggy though and that is what matters... he didn't have the abnormalities when he was 8 weeks or 10 weeks old when my p's bought him... oh the breeder was willing to give like $200 back! How rediculous... hello, maybe you should stopped in-breeding your dogs!!!

I moved my first kitty from chicago to NY - so moving can be done - quite reasonably too, if you have a will you will find a way. I keep writing more and deleting b/c I know I'll get flamed by someone or some fm sent to me that's less than nice - which will probably happen anyway. Just a very moving posting... thank you for posting this...
