We love Il Miradoro in Port Jeff. Its a little pricey but worth it.

There is the Spare Rib on the way down to the Port (in the same shopping center as Bagels and a Hole Lot More)... I really liked Pasta, Pasta the four times I have been there. I also really like Dockside for seafood... but I think my first choice would be Pasta, Pasta....

and then afterwards, try out Toast for AMAZING dessert: they have chocolate fondue with all the trimmings-- it's like having a personal chocolate fountain and they have GREAT wine!!! HTH

The Spare Rib is closed now it is Cinco De Mayo, FH and I went and they had so many words spelled incorrectly on the menu it was embarassing.

I second those! I've had dinner at Toast also (Fondue for dinner is fantastic! Mmmmm!).

Danford's is nice for a romantic but expensive meal. There's also a place right across the street from the toy store and behind the jewelry store connected to the strip with the pet store (Sorry I don't know the name!) They were good also.
