Friggin scary...I just called Mike to tell him this...it was when we first moved in with each other...thank God we moved out of there within 5 months!

before we even put a bid on our house, I did a search for registered sex offenders in our area.

DH thought I was being crazy to do that. But this is the house we are planning on living in forever and raising a family in. I wanted to make sure it was safe for my kids.

ETA: I moved to a more suburban area from where I used to have my apartment. I did a search out of curiosity on my old address and there was a registered sex offender that lived in my apartment complex!!
