Re: NWR - Scrapbooking

This one was really easy...you just attach the envelope flap to the front of another envelope and then accordian fold the whole thing together...

Re: NWR - Scrapbooking

I made a couple of scrapbooks and I'm not that crafty either but what I did to save money was printed out some clip art pictures and glued them to the pages, through the plastic they look just like stickers..I know it sounds kinda cheesy but it saved me a lot of $$

Re: NWR - Scrapbooking

vegas scrapbook is a great practice!!!
i usually keep 'guides' that are given away in the airport or touristy stations. if you didn't do that, order a free guide in vegas.com (i think!). i cut out pictures from the guide to add as background or borders. if you have tickets from a show, you can add that too.

you can add the date or write something special about that trip or picture.

you can also use ribbons and buttons.

if you find sayings that describes your trip from a magazine, you can cut that out too!

have fun!

Re: NWR - Scrapbooking

You girls are great!!! I went to AC Moore last night and spent another $40 on scrapbooking stuff. It can definitely be expensive!!!

I bought a book on clearance, it has some good ideas.

I think that it will wind up costing me a decent bit of money to make these scrapbooks, because I am buying 2 of almost everything, but, I think they will look great.

Re: NWR - Scrapbooking

I know it has been awhile but I wanted to say good luck on your scrapbooking and think that is a great idea for your parents.

I just finished one to give as a gift and she loved it.

Glad to see I am not the only one who loves making scrapbooks.

Re: NWR - Scrapbooking

West Sayville Country CLub is having a Scrapbooking Party....I don't know the details, but I saw it posted on their site.

I know Michaels used to have scrapbooking parties/gtg in the past. People come with all their supplies and ideas and you can a learn a lot from them.

You can even host a scrapbooking party to get all your friends together that srapbook....it is a great night of fun!
