i saw it on tv at work, so tragi.... lotsa smoke billowing out of the aparment, they have blocked off sections of the york ave area..

also, one of hte ppl who died was strapped to the plane chair. :(

so tragic!

watching it right now on CBS!!

too early to figure out what's going on...my FH just called me to find out what is on t.v. (since he's in queens -- and worries that NYPD might think it's something serious and mobilize them into manhattan!!!!)

i hate stuff like this--makes me so freaky he's a cop out there!

i'm thinking it was just an accident! i hope so!

Yep-- my DH is a Brooklyn cop and he is on his way there now.

FH works not far from there.....I called him so quick to make sure he is okay....He said he's fine....I hope he's able to make it out of work in time.....My dad is pickin him up at his apartment in Queens to go to the METS game tonight.....

It is being reported that the pilot of the plane was Yankee pitcher Cory Liddle...

SO SAD no matter who was on board...
