No reason to bog down the Bride's board with NWR/Baseball threads..

I'm the biggest Yankee fan out there.. but we chat about the Yankees ON THE YANKEE board, and the Mets fans chat about the METS guess where? ON THE METS BOARD

No need for Mets fans to come on this thread and bash either, IMO

We play nice on the baseball forums

Figured it would be a nice way to have all our friends and family share our wedded bliss 6 months to a year later. Our wedding is in October. Since I know the Yankees will be in the WS, we're thinking of televising it, if a game is on the same night.

Now if only my mom would agree to our choice of a favor! She is getting our favors for us, a donation to an organization and a greek customary favor. She feels, what would the older relatives in our family do with tickets to a game. But FI and I are thinking of giving the Yankees fans at our wedding an extra little surprise!

Awesome ideas

DH and I are huge baseball fans and incorporated some things into our wedding that was baseball - related as well

Trouble with us is that I am the huge (smart) Yankee fan and he is the huge (not so smart) Mets fan - so tickets as a favor coudln't have worked.

We did fake 'tickets' as our placecards and our table names were baseball stadiums

And our caketopper was a bride and groom with Mets and Yankee caps on
