I got all of mine out at once and they put me in the twilight sleep also. It was great one minute you are talking to the doctor the next you are all done. I loved it...lol They gave me some vicodin which was great that helped a lot. It wasn't bad. The only thing that bothered me was when it was healing I guess the bones have to go back in place but that is when I took vicodin and I wasn't in pain and sleeping. Don't worry it is all done soon and you will be glad to have them out before they bother you. The doctor told me it is better to get them out by 25 if you have to because the older you get the harder it is.

The dentist said he would put me in a twilight also. I've never had any anesthesia (sp?) before so I really dont know what this is like. Everyone seems to always say that it feels like you just blink and its all over. That sounds awesome!!

Thats true!! you don't remember anything or feel anything it's the best sleep you'll ever get

yeah this is what i remember - he said to count. . .and i was asking him backwards or forwards ( lol i watch too many of those surgery shows) and i dont even remember saying the first number

then i looked out the window for a second. . . and i pictured myself actually OUT the window - i didnt realize until later that they had actually started! all i saw in the room were like some shadowy figures to my side

then in my head i was like - when are they going to start? and BOOM - they took out the IV and i just felt really stoned and i couldnt believe they were done

i got so confused bc i thought i couldnt talk - turns out i had a pound of gauze in my mouth!!!

Good luck with all that!! never had them taken out...hope to not have to!!
I would take care of all 4 at once too...

I got my wisdom teeth pulled. They put me out.

IT WAS THE BEST SLEEP EVER! LOL

good luck. i hate the dentist. i started to get a root canel done last year.. and never went back to finish it. i jsut hate it there so much. my teeth and horrible! very sensitve

I did the root canal thing and I didnt think it was too bad. Im hoping I'll think the same thing about wisdom teeth extraction!

I got 3 done at once (only had 3) i was sooo scared and was hysterical crying before i went in. it was A PIECE OF CAKE!! Dont be scared at all!! The minute they put that baby needle in you you fall right asleep. I didnt feel a thing during or after. The medication they give you for pain is great, i felt hardly any discomfort. Youll be fine! I got 2 of mine pulled after my mouth got infected. Definitely do it. I had my left side done and I should have my right ones done too I have been avoiding it though . It wasn't bad I was out. Started couting back from 20 and make it to 16. woke up in a completely different place. I was feeling better fast ate some wendy's frosties and called it a day!

omg you will have NO PROBLEM then - root canals are much worse . . . trust me!

I had a lot of pain in my mouth and when I went to the DR he pullked all 4 at once.....with no pre warning. Take childrens liquid motrin thats the ONLY thing that helped over vicodin and codeine....explain that. and my monthly visitor came so i had both to deal with. You will be ok.

I got all 4 of mine pulled 2 months ago. It's definitely not fun but get them all out at once or you will never go back! I was more nervous about being put to sleep but that turned out to be the easiest part.

I had to get that done also!! remove all of them at the same time! and don't worry its not that bad! just get it done and over with before it gets any worse!

I stayed awake when I had mine pulled because I have asthma and they won't knock you out for that if you have asthma. It was fine with me though cause I'm scared to death of needles in my arm!! overall...the procedure wasn't bad but afterwards it hurt for a couple of days.

I just went to a consultation with an oral surgeon because I have to get my wisdom teeth (all 4) pulled out in May! I cant even tell you how much this scares me! I was scared just sitting there durring the consult!

Please share with me, your happy, pleasnt storys of getting your wisdom teeth pulled out so I dont have to be so scared! (if there is such a thing)

i got knocked out and i higly recommend it haha

Im a scrady cat and cant take the fear of what i might have felt so i opted to be sedated. I only had my top 2 removed, it was fine i had minimal pain and was doing normal things in an hour or so.


I think the bottom cause more difficulty
