Re: October vs. November Weddings

I agree that you can't really go by date alone. I got married on 10/5 and it was 80 degrees! We really lucked out with sunny skies, but it really varies. We wanted an early Fall wedding (my fave season), but we knew we wanted nice enough weather to take outdoor pics and have an outdoor cocktail hr if possible. Our hall was on the water so that was really important to us.

Re: October vs. November Weddings

I personally love October! I'm getting married this October 5th and I'm hoping for good weather to take sunset pictures. Good luck to you in whatever date you pick.

Re: October vs. November Weddings

I picked 11-05-04 for our date. I think that either way the weather will be un-predictable. Most people opt for the saturday wedding. So if the decision is the money factor then I would go with the popular saturday.
p.s. or you could go with a friday and save even more like me!

Re: October vs. November Weddings

I got married last October 13th, Sunday so I am biased for that weekend. Most people had off for Columbus Day so if you are deciding between the 2, both are like Saturdays anyway! I had a rainy weekend and wanted beautiful fall like weather and I didn't get that. Yes I am still bitter, lol but like the girls said the weather is so unpredictable and you can't change it! Best of Luck!
