BTW wondering if anyone knows if they finally installed the new carpet and updated the bar in the upstairs room? Somehow I doubt it...I think I'm the only 07 bride up there. last time I was in that room, about 2 months ago, they still hadn't made the changes.

I am in the upstairs room. We were there about a month ago...the dancefloor was done...but the carpet is still there. They said there was a problem..the one they ordered was on backorder..then they stopped making it or something so they had to order a brand new one.... I don't know...my wedding is JUly 21...so hopefully it's done by then !

I assume I have Lou too...we always meet with him. Both he and Nick are great. My cousin got married at CLM 3 years ago....Nick still remembers their names and wedding date!

We're using the Holiday Inn Express in Hauppage...they give a free shuttle

I didn't really get to see the bar there..last time we went they were cleaning up from a monrning wedding so there was stuff piled all over the bar! But we are going back in the next few weeks becuase we need to go over the seating arrangement with them. I'll try to take pics and post them if I can!!

Hey 07' CLM girls from an 08' CLM gal!!!

Yea I excited to see your reviews when all is said and done! I hope everything is going smoothly. I was wondering myself if things were progressing on the renovations. I was praying by this time everything that needed to be done would be done because I highly doubt major projects (such as elevator) will be done now that is getting into 'wedding' season.

Also, did anyone know if you booked the upstairs room did you have a choice of table shapes? Like can you have all circle tables or its all oblong?

I keep dreaming for an elevator but I doubt it will ever happen- they've been saying that for ages. I've given up hope.

As far as tables, there's only one choice. I believe they're all oval-shaped. HTH
