I am not a duet bride . . . yet, so sorry for crashing, but I have a question for all of you - kind of a spin-off from Rosalinds email earlier about photographers. What is the minimum / average number of pictures Duet promises? Also, are the parent albums individualized or the same as my album will be, just mini versions?

I'm afraid if I email them again with these questions they aren't going to want to deal with me, ahahah, thanks for your help!!

I just booked on Monday and talked with Eric. I was told there will be about 3000 pics taken. Then they edit what they find to be the best 500. You get all 3000 or so on a DVD and the 500 they fix are 4x6 pictures (and on a seperate DVD). If there are others on the DVD you want they will edit those for you too. They are not protected either so you can print as many as you like at home.

The parant albums are individualized they showed me 2 kinds the slip in ones, with the traditional black border than the library style where the full picture is the page.... Parents get 24 pics, Also they don't all have to be the same, meaning your parents pics don't have to be the same as FH pics

Eric told me that they have no limit on the amount of pictures they take, but usually they take around 2000-3000.

The parent albums are individualized, but if you want mini versions they told me it will be an extra $100 - but doing this will also make the parent album bigger! (not sure that is what I am going to do-but it's in my contract)

Eric was really helpful - I went back 2 times before I booked them, and I got them to through in a lot of extras :)

yup.. was told the same thing.. 2000-3000

we are going with the full pic page for the parent albums. I really like the fact that we can choose different pics for each parent album and they dont have to be clones of the bridal album.

They updated their website - Did anyone see?
They have individual bios now and have a more efficient way to check their availability for your date!

blah! I wanna take my e-pics now!!! But the only request FH had was to get married in the fall so we can have the color leaves in photos.
I ignored that idea when i was told what date my wedding could be by work.

So now i am waiting to take my epics in late oct... blah!!!
