I know that it has been awhile since I have been on but how are the August 2006 brides doing?

It will almost be a year. I can't believe how fast it went. I hope everyone is enjoying their first year together as a married couple. What are you doing for your anniversary?

It is definitly crazy. To think that during this time last year we were all trying to get the final details of the wedding down and now we will celebrate one year. I also keep thinking the last time I took a real vacation was on my honeymoon. I am totally due for one.

Married Life is wonderful. Everything else is.. eh Just going through some job issues (I left a great job because I *thought* it was the right thing to do at the time- started a new one that I absolutely HATED.) Now, I am back on the job search.

How are YOU??? It has been a while!!! Less then a month away from our one year anniversary!

Hey there!

I wish, Nothing planned as of yet. We are pretty flexible with time off for August so we are keeping an eye on last minute deals. If anything, we will take some time off and chill at home together.

Sorry to hear about the whole job thing. I was that way a couple of years ago. In my case the company I worked for got aquired and it has worked out for the better that I didn't have to look for a job. Hey you never know maybe you had to go through this to get to your dream job. Good luck on your searching.

As for me, things have calmed down but it is still crazy. It is just a bit of an adjustment still to balance my work life, home life, social life, and family. I have to learn to not take on too many projects.

Husband and I figured we would go to Ireland. It just happened to work out it was during our anniversary due to his job requiring him to stay in the country until after August 8th.

Mexico sounds nice KvsGrl. I have never been there but hear great things.

That is great. My DH and I are not quite ready yet. We say we are still too selfish to think about it, but we will see what the future will bring.
