Hi girls, congrats to everyone. i'm so glad everyone's day was wonderful. i am delaying my review until we return from our HM to Hawaii (yay) - we had to delay HM for work reasons but we are so burned out and in need of a break. i am def going through withdrawl. I can't motivate to get anything done. hopefully the HM will fix that. Congrats everyone! i'm married 50 days! ouch. i'm so sad its over

I can hear the getting back into routine. I found it a bit hard the first two days back from the honeymoon in a new home and a husband. I was a bit overwhelmed and actually was a bit home sick (childhood home). Now that I have had a week of it, things are much better...went back to work today for the first time. It is like nothing changed but I am glad to be back. Hawaii must have been gorgeous...my parents went for their 25th and loved it.
Wow, I thought I was the only one that was overwhelmed! On our first official night in our new place as husband and wife...well I started crying! I was home-sick adn couldnt believe I was a wife!!!! So strange, but things are better now...tryingt o get the apartment settled, so I have that to focus on!!
Hawaii was amazing...I promise to post pics once we upload them!
You definitly not alone here...I took the time off yesterday and what a great month anniversary suprise for my husband to find that the bedroom had clothes in closets and drawers instead of in luggages and boxes. He seemed really impressed. At least two rooms now are officially like the way it is suppose to be. Now to move on the rest of the home.
How are the rest of the August Brides doing. I probably will have a review by end of week. I have to wait for a better explanation from one of the vendors of what happened at my wedding. But I did post who I used and grades in my profile in the meantime.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

Re: Official August 2006 Thread. Come on in.
thank you! i leave in 9 days. i had a prob with one of my vendors too - my florist - totally left out one of the types of flowers i wanted in my bouquet. when i got home from the hair salon, they were already delivered and i realized they were missing, so i called and there was NO answer, i was upset and disappointed but had to leave.I called the next day, they apologized, said they'd 'do something for me' when the guy i dealt with returned in a week... no call back nothing. I called them again and got him personally on the phone, he said he'd drop something off for me on Tuesday nite after work?? P.S. he never showed up. I was REALLY mad but felt petty. I'm still pissed about it because it affected the whole bouquet and it was the color i really wanted (green hydrangeas and pink roses). Green was what i really wanted in the bouquet! what would you do? DH says i should just call again or go in person! why should he get away with me paying for something i didn't get? i don't know

I cant believe we've celebrated our 1 month anniversary. Believe it or not, I feel that my wedding went as great as I'd ever hoped and I am glad to have it over. I have no feelings of wanting to turn back time to before the wedding. I love being married!Does anyone feel the same way?

Your photos came out great. You looked really happy. Which is how things should be.I have to really scan some of the ones I have but I don't have a scanner and nothing digital to show off except the flowers that are located in my albums.

Wow you have a lot on your plate. Yeah married life is great. I think I mentioned it before that I had a tough time adjusting to not being married but living with a person who weren't my parents. But I think I am starting to get use to it.
Good luck on the GMATS, when are you taking them? I have to start studying for my PE Exams next month, so I will be on the same road soon.
