We're having the montage included in the dvd but we asked them if we could have that portion done earlier so we can show it at the reception. They said they'll have it done but they don't provide the equipment to show it. You'll have to work that out with your reception hall.

excited! i am not sure if i posted when i booked duet- so YAY i am a duet bride too! it is in my contract who my photographers are and i cant remember for the life of me right now... they are terrific and i cant wait to have our engagment shoot- sometime in the fall!

They were amazing!
At first I was camera shy but after a little while, I didnt even notice they were there.
All my guests kept telling me how they must have captured every moment.

Did you give them a list of shots you wanted before hand and they carry that around or do you have to tell and ask them...Like table shots will they do them or did you ask?? TIA and thanks for sharing your experience with them.

Hi, I am not a Duet bride yet but went to see them on Saturday and loved their work!!! photo as well video!!! I think we are going to sign the contract this weekend.....does anyone know their 'best' photographers???

I went to visit Duet this Saturday also. I know that everyone raves about them but the woman who was helping us was not helpful at all. She didn't explain the different types of albums and photos that were available, and when she showed us the video, she just skipped through the different chapters and I really wasn't able to see how the video was done! The pictures are beautiful, though. I think the woman FH and I spoke to was new. I'm almost considering going back to speak to someone else.

Was the woman Nichole??

She does not usually run client meetings at all. I would all back and ask to make an appointment with Eric, the one that usually does the initial interview. He is awesome and spent alot of time answering ALL of our questions, concerns etc.

Also, they pretty much let you pic whatever album you want at no charge, at least when I was there. He said we can pick whichever style and size we liked best and thats what was included in the package.

I would ask to speak with Eric. Im so sorry you didnt have a good first experience, but Eric is very nice and ask him to see a whole video without interruption.

Our experience was good... I don't know the girl that was helping us, don't know if it was Nicole or not but it was the girl that is pregnant..she was nice....she showed us the video and talked about the different albums...we are going to see Eric before we sign to talk about the details and of course negotiate the price.....overall I think they give a lot for their price....there was a couple picking up their proofs from their 6/04 wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous (I asked if I could see them)....after seeing them I think we are going to sign with them...

I got my proofs back!
They look amazing but I do remember pictures being taken of things and the proofs arent in there so I called and I am waiting for a call back on that. For example I KNOW they took that traditional picture of the invitation, shoes and garter, but its not there.

Could it be that it didnt come out?

Uhh.. I am a little concnerned because I had my casual day shoot on wednesday and Sam came.. I have never heard of Sam but he said scott with be there day of as well???

FH had a VERY hard time understand Sam.. I was fine , but I hope scott speaks better english!

Sue told me that I would have the same crew for my wedding as the casual day.

I'm glad the weather was really nice for you, if a little hot. Better hot than wet .
