I have my dress!
Now I am on to flowers, invitations and BM dresses. Congrats to all!

Whats new? Any goals for January? Any wedding plans?

New: my wonderful fi just booked our hm!! He is going to surprise me, so not sure where we are going!

Goals: i really need to tackle the guest list

Wedding plans: Everything is pretty much booked. I need to get all the undergarments and accessories and look into RD places

I have to order my 2nd dress b/c i dont like the 1st one anymore

I am losing about $700 for the deposit

but its well worth it i just didnt love the dress and i found the one i love.heres pics the 1st one was the one i dont like and the second is in my album

Goals for January: print invites and put in pockets.
Book florist
Here's my knot.com checklist to do's for this month, which will not happen till next month

Request demo tapes from ceremony musicians.
Choose your florist and send a deposit to reserve their services.
Make sure your maid of honor and best man are aware of what you expect of them -- providing a list of their duties will help.
Book a baker, choose your wedding cake design, and send a deposit.
Book ceremony musicians and send deposit.
Start planning the rehearsal dinner. Provide the host with contact information for your attendants and any other guests.
Start working on your invitation wording and design.
Finalize menu and service details with caterer.
Finalize your invitation wording.

oooh! i jsut saw the one in your album its gorgeous!! I like both gowns but its your choice.
$700 is not that bad- in terms of losing money in exchange for the dress you love...

so, speaking of bach party- when is everyone going on their bach party in relation to your wedding?

i think i am doing mine 3 weeks prior to the wedding- and we will prob. do A.C.

My Bach. Party is 2/22-2/25. Shower is 4/30. Gives them plenty of time to save money for my gifts

Ilive in FL, 2 of my BM live in NY. One couldn't make it. But oh well, you got to do whats good for the majority. If you want to go on a cruise let me know and I'll hook you up w/ my Carnival connection
