Oh! And I went to Burtons yesterday and when I said where we were getting married the lady said one of their employees got married there yesterday morning and they were able to the have the ceremony outside and it was beautiful! So I guess the street unflooded

Heres the response Jen!

Hey jennie,
sorry I didn't get back to you sooner . We can allow anything with candles but she will need some kind of glass palte or mirror to put them on. In reference to the elevator all I could say is the actual elevator is paid for we are waiting for the final permits from the village and the town to build the shaft and also for the elevator company to manufacture it. Hope this helps.

Thanks jennie.. so my candelabras are ok YAY YAY !!!!! Im assuming the glass plate or mirror refers to putting candles on the actual table themselves!

Ugh about the elevator though, that doesnt sound promising at all.

Was there a thread about where everyone is staying on their wedding night? If not.. where is everyone staying?? I want to stay at the Garden City Hotel, but its kinda far.

I couldnt find any hotels right around CLM. I stayed on one just off the expressway I think.

We're staying at the Four Points by Sheraton in Plainview. It's not right around the corner but its not too far either, brand new and really nice! The bridal suite is awesome... they're a vendor on here

Yes! They do allow an open flame, I will be having candles w/o glass too!

We are staying at the Huntington Hilton along w/ our OOT guests. It's not too far... and supposed to be nice! Plus they have a suite for us!!

Not sure about going to WOTY, but it would be awesome to see a wedding in action at CLM!!!!
