Taking epics Sept 6th....I can't wait. I still haven't figured out what to wear. Any suggestions?

My photographer seemed surprised that I wanted to do epics a year in advance, and said that people usually do them 6-9 months before the wedding. I still might schedule them for September some time, but I haven't really put much thought into it.

Out of the big vendors I still have to book a florist - which I'd like to do in October so I can get a feel for the seasonal flowers and limos. Then I just have the little things like STDs, invitations, favors, etc ...

Good morning ladies. I'm taking my e-pics in October. I've been trying to figure out what I should wear as well since I don't want my black and white shots to look washed out. I think I may go with a white or cream colored top (maybe a light sweater) and some jeans and black high heel boots (gotta have my boots). I know someone posted about wearing denim as a top because it comes out really grey in black and white shots so people might want to stay away from that. I think FH may do a black top or white button down shirt with a blazer. I can't wait to see how they look.

I still have to book a DJ and then I'm done. My next tasks will be all the little things - invites, favors, menu placecards, BP gifts, etc. FH and I just got a new car so things are a little tighter now, but we've been saving on a schedule so it really isn't going to affect the wedding budget at all (thank God!).

I forgot I still have one BIG thing to do - find a wedding gown (how could I forget that?). We'll see how that goes when I meet with a designer next week. I'm hoping to find 'the one' so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

What does everyone have left to do? Any wedding related tasks accomplished this weekend?

I am taking my epics next week! I have a nice coral top that I brought to wear. I want to take night pics so I want it to really pop. FH is wearing a black button down.

I have a meeting with Thomas Knoell next month. That is all very excitting!

Good luck we the epics.


We took ours last week and I wore an orange/yellow top with jeans and FI wore an orange polo and jeans to match. It only took an hour and it was a lot of fun.

Up next - Dress shopping. I have an appt on Saturday and Monday!!

I don't think I posted on this thread before...I'm set for 9/28/07!!
All i have booked is the hall, the church and almost 100% on photographer (family freind)...

I am on the search for flowers, I've gone to 2 places, but am searching for a better deal...
I think I know my dress and the BP dress, just trying to get all the BP party in gear to try the ones I like on...

We're down to less than a year ladies!!!
