I think I'm sending invites this Octoberish..beginning Novemberish...only because I fall on a holiday weekend and that way people can plan their vacations accordingly...yadda yadda....

That sounds like a good plan. What about STD's?

I hope it works out well. I don't want to have to send out any 'last minute' invites in August and offend anyone in the process. We're sending out our STD's in January. I think that gives everyone ample notice about our wedding. I know Labor Day weekend is a popular vacation weekend so we're hoping people will be able to make it.

I don't want to spend umpteen hours traveling so I think we will do something in the Caribbean or maybe South America.

I have been. It was really nice. I went with my family. The resort was beautiful (I forget the name of it-sorry!). We went to the volcano and canopying in the rainforest. It was an adventure!
