Re: OFFICIAL WW 2006 BRIDES SUPPORT GROUP THREAD!
Weigh watchers is great, but I'm at the point where I can't take it no more. I'm trying to just eat healthy withouth counting, go to gym, and see if that helps me lose weight. It probably won't, but I'm still hopeful. The only way I EVER lost weight was by counting points, but it makes me crazy.

Re: OFFICIAL WW 2006 BRIDES SUPPORT GROUP THREAD!
I'm starting tomorrow but not doing the meetings. I like to go to meetings the same day every week but it's just impossible right now. I've done it before (and it worked when I did it) so I know all about the points and have all the books. Tonight I do all the food shopping and will start the gym tomorrow. Hope to lose about 20-25lbs and have 10 months to do it. Not bad, that's only 2 lbs a month.

Wow! I just wrote down my point from yesturday an so far today. I could have had that cheesecake...I had only 10 points yesterday! I need to actually eat more! I am still happy w/ myself that I did not give in to the cake though. I am supposed to have between 18 and 20 pounds right?

Re: OFFICIAL WW 2006 BRIDES SUPPORT GROUP THREAD!
I started today and so far so good. It helps to share meal ideas, and to keep changing things up. Otherwise it gets boring and too easy to cheat. I was at the gym this morning at 6. My goal is to 45 min of cardio at least 5 days a week. My meeting is tonight in NYC.

Re: OFFICIAL WW 2006 BRIDES SUPPORT GROUP THREAD!
Low points ideas anyone?Regular boca burgers the HUGE ones are only 1 point because they have so much fiber! 100 cal, 5 grams fiber!
I love to put pickles on top..no points!
Haagen-dazs makes these fat free yogurt and sorbet pops...really refreshing and only 2 points!
This morning I had an eggo blueberry waffle. Only 2 points and it feels like I'm being bad.
I'm a ranch dorito addict.. 12 chips is only 3 points. I know it's not the best use of points, but when I can eat doritos, I don't feel like I'm on a diet.
Edy's Slow Churned ice cream..depending on the flavor, it's 2-3 points per half cup.
As you can tell, I like to insert the 'junk' food into my day. I feel like I'm eating so bad, but it stays within my points, so it's a win-win situation!

You DEFINITELY need to eat more points! If you weigh less than 150 pounds, you are supposed to have 20 points a day. WW suggests you don't go under your points.

It's actually hard though...I don't know how I am going to make it today either. After breakfast (2pts), snack (2 pts), and lunch (6 pts), I have only 10 points again. So what can I have for dinner that will make up the difference? I am not even hungry...and I want to go to the gym...which will minus a point too! The gym is not just for weight loss, it's for health too so I don't want to skimp on the gym.
I never thought that I didn't eat enough.BTW: a good WW cake that from what I remember is only 2 points. Take regular cake mix powder and just add diet coke and bake (don't add the ingredients on the box). That w/ some low calorie cool whip is actually quite yummy. Makes a nice fudgey cake

Re: OFFICIAL WW 2006 BRIDES SUPPORT GROUP THREAD!
Let's share our favorite low point food ideas....I know my worst downfall on WW is getting bored with what I'm eating. Here's my favorites:
Polly-O String Cheese (only 2 pts, and counts as a dairy serving, good snack)
Most progresso soups (4 or 5 points for the entire can) Just make sure you get the non-cremy ones. My favorite is grilled steak with roasted russet potatoes. It's only 5 points for the entire can, and it's so filling. I eat it for dinner a lot and sometimes it's even too much food.
Gardenburger Veggie burgers (only 1 point and counts as a vegetable serving). I eat these on a toasted ww english muff (only 1 pt)...very good lunch.
Anyone else care to share?

Oh, also...A lot of the 'Pria' bars that you can find with the power bars, etc. are only 2 points and taste like a candy bar...Awesome if you're craving chocolate.

Hmmm, my favorite WW friendly food...98% fat free mission tortillas- 3 of them are 4 points.
I make tacos with Morningstar veggie crumbles, lettuce, and tomoatoes. A 5 point dinner!
Plus, Americas choice no sugar added ice cream, vanilla fudge- real good.
