Re: Officiant Father Robert (Bob) Allman
Sorry to here that you all had bad luck with him. I guess I was one of the lucky ones that's had nothing go wrong. He worked with me with everything. I planned my wedding in 3 months, had my venu went out of business less then a month before my wedding thats a whole another story!!!! he was right there for me with support. I recieved all my licence got it approved by my church. not sticking up for him but I had so many thing go wrong with my wedding, If there was really something wrong with him he wouldn't be around and doing weddings for almost 30 yrs!Now if you want to talk nightmares on dj, photograph and videographer that's a subject I would love to bad mouth about lol.... I look at things this way it's better to have no luck then any luck.... At the end of they day we're all happily marriage!!!
I'm married 2 years and going on my second child! I couldn't be happier... Good luck to you all!!!!!

Officiant Father Robert (Bob) Allman
Lol.... Well I don't blam you for thinking that way...... I actually had a dream about him and last night at 3am, very odd one but I did.... And I couldn't fall back asleep so I googled father allmen. and i am across liweddings website that I heard of, I was reading all these negative things about him, I was so shocked.... I come from a very italian/German Catholic family and always wanted to get married in a church however, those card didn't fall for me when I didn't have my dad to walk me down the aisle, he passed away at the time of my wedding 6 year from cancer. My husband didn't agree with me not wanting to have a wedding and he was soso with the idea of getting married in the venue, Espically he was raise the an Italian Catholic. My mom was talking to a family member about father allmen, I did my research, found him. After speaking with him on the phone telling him why I would love to meet him and plan my ceremony with him. He told me to pick out two reading and two people to read them I was like, ' ok I've been to a lot of wedding with ministers, never heard any of them do a read from the bible!' when speaking to the two family members to do the honor and read for my wedding they were a little puzzled because again a priest traveling to a venue for a wedding ceremony. The day of my wedding I had everyone talking about father allmen and where did I find him. The only thing missing was the cross behind him as if you were in a real church. Not only did he make the ceremony special, he said a pray and lite a candle in memory of my dad and father in law that are pass way. Also I had I knew someone who just got married and also had father allmen nothing negative there. The money issue that everyone had, never happen with me. When I spoke to him I told him I was planing my wedding in 3 month and how I felt about getting married in a church with no father, he was so sincere. Being a bride maid in a lot of wedding, churches are a lot of money, to find it cheaper will never happen, plus father allmen is with good Shepherd Catholic Church in bridgehampton did my research on him!!!!!!!!!!
Also when it came to the month before my wedding meeting him at villa Lombardi's to give him paper work, I found out the same day after meeting with father allmen, my wedding venue 'nicos at the Gatsby mansion in islip' was being closed down. As a bride having everything booked with no venue was a horror movie. Thank god that all worked out, and for faith my wedding was now at villa Lombardi's! ' awesome venue, with faith on my side I didn't even know my husband and I was sitting with the owner of villa Lombardi's, even when I told her about father allmen she was like ' we love him here'!!!!!! Would do have more events there!!!!!
Now as for my dj, photograph and videographer that was a nightmare!!! The dj gave us a package deal great price, he was my dj for my sweet 16 back in the day, no complaints with him but as it came for the photos and video no word came speak for how I ripped my dj a new one. Picture were nothing that I thought they were to be and the video how can you have problems with your camera and now check if you taped the spotlight dances?!?!?!? I never seen someone so focused on a new camera that he wanted to play with on the same day of my wedding!!!!!!! When I got my DVDs 6 months later, watching everything with now spotlight dancing, no growing up picture of my husband and I and no memorial picture of our fathers. I was suppose to get my proofs, I has to beg for them...... I was so disappointed on how that turned out!
Limo, flowers, dress store, awesome! Very surprise at the owner of the dj company, Krompier Entertainment in Amityville.
So yeah a little odd after all this time joining liweddings, all because I got a little hurt on what I was reading on father allmen!!! Where are the nice things about him???? And if brides are so unhappy go to the source it self and complain about there services! The man had been doing this for years, if he was a fake he wouldn't be still doing what he is doing!

This story is disgusting. I feel SO terrible for everyone that had to deal with this. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, I should think the one person/vendor you can always TRUST is the priest!!

Re: Officiant Father Robert (Bob) Allman
I also made the mistake of booking this fake to conduct my ceremony this summer. After meeting with him in his sketchy so-called church, a.k.a. house basement apartment in a residential area of Hampton Bays, I quickly realized that he was a fraud. The surf board in his backyard and full-on priest robe attire where he looked like he was going to the Vatican was a dead giveaway. He gave me his whole speech and said after he marries a couple, he supplies a Catholic Church marriage certificate (xerox print-out) which religiously binds the couple. Any true Catholic knows that sacraments are not distributed that way. After meeting with him, I did some research online and found these boards and terrible reviews on him. I also contacted the Diocese of NY who was aware of “father” Robert and his antics. He was kicked out of the Roman church years ago and has been portraying himself as a holy figure and deceiving hundreds of brides.
Sadly, I already gave this crook a $200 deposit when I spoke with I’m on the phone the first time as he pressured me to do so and said he wouldn’t be available for my wedding if I didn’t. When I called to tell him that I won’t be using him for my wedding after reading his reviews, he became irate and said it is non-refundable then hung up the phone on me. This man needs to be stopped and all brides should stay clear of him.

I would also give Oheaka some pushback too - if there a recommended vendor they should be behind you fighting for your money back or give it back to you personally!...also - No priest that is active in the church still(Im pretty sure retired too this applies too) can marry someone of the same relgion outside of a church. we tried too. we are going with Minister Keith and he is AMAZING!

Brides, just so you know, these 'Catholic Priests' that perform ceremonies outside of the Catholic church are rogue priests. My parish priest explained to me that once a man is a priest, he's a priest for life. He can leave or get kicked out of a parish, but they can still call themselves priests. These priests are not administering the Sacrament of Marriage; they are only blessing your union. Your marriage will not be on record with theCatholic Church. It's no surprise this guy acts this way and should in NO WAY be interpreted as a representative of the Catholic church.

He did the same thing to me. I got married on June 8th 2013, I only met him twice which I thought was strange. I had a bad feeling about him but I couldn't figure out why I guess brides intuition. The day of my wedding I'm in the limo and I see this guy coming toward me and he said that Father Robert had a family emergency and he would be replacing him. Then I knew that I was just scammed. He never called or anything. What a scam. I hope he never does this to anyone else....
