there are so many names i like....

boy includes Logan... brandon...matthew
girl includes... mackenzie, madeline, krystal , kirsten, jacqueline

I like the name Logan too but it always reminds me of that character in the Babysitters Clubs books! He was a cutie too! lol!

Jenn, that is too funny you mention this!!! FH's name is Brian, a name we both love. He doesn't however, want to name his son after himself because he kind of wants him to have his own 'identity' whatever that means!!!

Everybody is different about this issue. I personally wouldn't mind naming my son after FH!!

I will play too!

For a girl we have had a few ideas, but at the moment it's Vera Simone (we were also concidering Brooke Simone)

For a boy:
Benjamin Simon

We need a name with the B to honor my grandfather according to jewish traditions. In hebrew V and B is the same so we decided on Vera. I love old-fashion names, and it also works in Russian (another concern of ours)

We decided that if we have a boy, we'd name him after our grandfathers - Charles Francis.

But if we have a girl first, she'll have my grandfather's name as her middle - Frances.

Beyond that, we haven't discussed much.

Girl: Selindria Arianna (Xelindrya=Selindria)
Boy: Don't know.. I want him to have an English and Chinese name. I've always liked the name Scott and no matter what there must be an A to begin one of the names. To show respect for my father's name, since my family name won't be used.

I have always loved the name Daniel.
So when my parents adopted two boys and my father named the first Damian Theodore I was given the chance to name the second. So I called him Daniel Timothy.

We (my father's side) try not to reuse names often. But we like a good twist. My nephew is 'Ian' because my father had originally wanted to name my older brother Damian.. and Ian is the last 3 letters of Damian's name.

Jim's family has all Chinese names .. only Jim has an English middle name. I love some of the names they have so I'd want that to be passed on.

We have had several discussions on this matter and the only name we agree on is Piper for a girl and possibly Ian or Parker for a boy.

For our son (who I prophesize will be my first, if not all boys), I'd like either Richard Paul (FH is Richard Fredric Jr. and my deceased grandpa was Paul) or Paul Richard

For a girl....we love the old fashioned names...Emma, Emily, Rebekah, Sarah, Paige, Molly

My first cousin named her daughter Emily...would it be bad for us to name our daughter the same or Emma???? We aren't close...

We can't agree.
FI is a Junior and he wants our son to be Robert III. I hate that idea. But I will concede if it makes him happy.
I like Natasha for a girl. FH hates it. Good thing we aren't having kids anytime soon.

IT amazes me how popular the name Emma has gotten. That was my grandmother's name and she hated it. I was supposed to be named that but it wasnt fashionable in the 70s I guess...oh well because I dig it.

I love it not only because its pretty but I was close to my g-ma and want to use it someday but I hate that it is so popular...

Also like Daniella, Madeline, Nicole, Sarah, Meghan, Darrah, Annika

For boys: Nicholas, Christopher, Jake/Jack

Already named mine but I'll play..

My daughter: Dawn Marie
Son: Scott William

Yes I know that my children are named after cleaning products but it wasn't on purpose!!

The middle names are the same middle names as my mom and his dad's.
