Great question my dh is off the boat Italian and
he would like our son named after his dad

I personally don't like it b/c in italy the nickname is nino and in the usa I am afraid i would have a little tony

We like Andrew Vincent for a boy, Andrew because we just like the name and we like the nickname 'Drew' and Vincent is my grandpa's name...plus it goes well with FH's last name!

For girls we like Alexis so we can call her Lexi FH's cousin is Layla and I love that name! FH likes Isabella, but I don't want people to call her Bella. I am the worst, for every name I think of I think of a nickname I hate or how people will destroy it! LOL Or I think of a person i met that I didn't like with that name! lol FH's cousin just had a little boy and named him Jaeden. I thought that was soooo nice. It is pronouced Ja-den.

I like Lyla Elizabeth for a girl.
I also like Hannah, but I think its over done.
My out of nowhere name is Astrid, but FH actaully works with someone that named his daughter that b/c the had a common last name & wanted something different.


Boys names are tough.
I wouldn't want him to be like everone else, but I wouldn't want him to get beat up either.

I kinda like Elijiah & Jackson (Jack as a child)

A few people said Daniel, which I love, that's my cousin's name amd I try & always call him Daniel, but he likes Dan, and his school/teammates call him Danny, but the family doesn't (he's 11).

We agree on Ashley Nicole for a girl (thank goodness!)
I also love: Briana Rose, Gianna Elizabeth, and Alexa Renee' or Mia Simone

We don't agree on boys names at all. He wants Steven Jr. and I say 'no'. There are so many Jr's in our family that I want my son to have a different name.
I love: Brandon Christopher, Justin Ryan and Dylan Joseph.

Madeline Margaret for Girl #1 (named after my Mom/Grandma- both Madelines and my MIL who is Margaret)
Emily or Hannah for Girl #2

Jack Clayton for Boy #1 Named after FIL (Jack) and DH (middle name is Clayton)
Paul Richard for Boy #2 (named after my step dad who's name is Richard Paul).
