Are you doing high or low centerpieces? I think I'm going to do low because it seems like from all the pictures that's what everyone does.

Also before we booked I became obsessed with finding other wedding pictures from OFC so I have about 10-15 links with people's wedding pictures. FM me if your interested.

I also have a great photographer, I really wanted to pick someone who has already shot at OFC and was familiar with the venue. Let me know if you need a recommendation.

We're doing all high cherry blossom centerpieces. See below for a pic of the sample Designs by Rose put together for me.

You're right though. All of the pics I've seen of other OFC weddings have low centerpieces. I think the high branchy centerpieces will look beautiful in that room though, especially since their ceiling is so high.

I didn't plan on it, I don't think we'll need it, in the beginning of September it shouldn't be that hot and our ceremony isn't starting until 6:00 so for cocktail hour the sun will be setting.

Are you decorating the top of the fireplace?

Yes we are..are you going to? I'm going to decorate the fireplace like the below pic. But the 2 vases will be small cherry blossom arrangements, and we will have pink roses attached to the vine going across the fireplace.

Well we don't have everything determined yet we just know for the entree we want the filet and swordfish and we are still trying to figure out which chicken to choose. And we haven't thought about the first two courses what about you?


Do you know of anyone that got married there that's on LIW that has pics or have pics from other weddings there?

If you haven't booked a photog yet, I have a really great one who has also shot at OFC before, that was really important to me when we booked

Hey ladies ~ We were married at OFC this past September. We sat in front of the fireplace and left the dance floor near the bar. That room is a bit separated from the rest of the room so you may want to think about that when you are deciding who to sit in there. I thought the fireplace was too pretty to be covered by the band. Also, having the bar & dance floor with the band in front of the windows (the ones facing the ceremony area) kept the dance floor packed. It worked really well like that for us.

We used the OFC's hurricane's w/ a taper candle & some votives around the table. We did individual CP's for the guests to take home which was a garden rose w/ river rocks.

We did have the ceremony there, it was gorgeous!

Who was your Florist?? What decorations did you do for the ceremony?? Any suggestions for us??

We used Jen at Verbena and I loved her. We went with field flowers / antique hydragneas for the ceremony & calla lilly's for my girls. I had antique hydrageneas & calla's in my bouquet. The tables we did individual centerpieces, see attached. I highly recommend Jen! (Not sure I can get the image attached but I did email you a pic)
