I have been to both and both are gorgeous. You can't go wrong either way. I am also getting married in a brooklyn church at 2:30 in Sheepshead Bay. I am taking my pics at the Old Westbury Gardens. I fell in love with bridal pics at a show i went to and immediately booked it. (They let me fax in my payment.) My situation is easier though because my reception is at 6 at Chateau Briand, which is about a 5-10 drive from westbury gardens. But even with that we might miss our cocktail hour in the name of pics. We also changed our hour long ceremony to a half hour mass to allow for more time. Remember you have to take pics in front of the church too afterwards. You need about 30 mins for these. It takes me about 45-50 mins from Sheepshead Bay to get to OLD WEST. Also keep in mind your choice of limo. The older Rolls Royces do not go all that fast I was told. Ask your limo company about this, then take it into consideration when you do your trial drive over! Last thing to consider, the Botanical Gardens are very far into brooklyn, all the way down flatbush...so depending on where you are in brooklyn, the drive might be just as long as it would be to westbury.

don't know anything about bbg but we took pics at old west. and LOVED it!

i have pics in my album (at end) if u want to see some of the sites.

good luck! i was having the same dilemma but i decided that i have no time whatsoever to go to OWG and way too many people ......have you ever seen the grounds at Russo's? ive seen very nice pics come out from there....

I still undecided about OWG and BBG(which is 5mins from my church) but 45-60mins to the RH.

I have alot to consider- i just heard that my church has a place in dorrs where we could take pictures... so I am considering this for family pics and them go tto OWG with the bridal party.....
