It sounds like she's jealous of your lifestyle and how its progressing for you, and she seems to be 'stuck' in her teenage years, even way past her teenage years.

I would either write her an email or a letter and tell her exactly how you feel. How DARE she say that about your MOM !!!! and how DARE she say youre too close to your mom. Tell her EXACTLY as you feel, how she hurt you and if this is how she feels, then its best to end this friendship. Maybe you can mention doing other things OTHER Than bars. thats just not in your lifestyle right now, and you choose not to go. Afriendship should go both ways, and she doesnt seem to be very willing to hold up her end.

She seems extremely immature and sad about her life.

i use to have a 'friend' like that and i stopped hanging out with her early on cause thats the way it was.. she really is just a jealous insecure person, and you dont need that at a time when you are happy doing your wedding planning

First of all, no one can hurt you if you don't give them that power over you. This person does not deserve your friendship -- who the he l l is she to say your mom should be over the loss of her fiance? Too close to your family? She's done with YOUR bs? No way! She should be mature enough to understand grown ups and grown up responsibilities (family, husbands etc). You don't need her friendship and she doesn't deserve it either. Friends support each other, they don't tear each other down.

Oh yeah, one more thing...God bless Irish tempers! I love mine!!

It seems like I am always trying my best not to hurt others and in the long run, I get hurt. Dont get me wrong, I can be the biggest B I T C H ever but when it comes to friends...i try my best.

As I said before, I cant and will not change the person I am for anyone. I have never been into clubs and that whole scene. A bar to hang out with everyone, yes of course, I love it but not for the reasons she wants to go. And even I were before, I am way past that now.

For example, she doesnt like to do family things with her family but I have never said anything to her about that....thats her...I accept it. I dont force my lifestyle down her throat..I feel a friend should accept you...and she does not.

Im sorry for keep bringing this up but I am so angry, hurt, annoyed!
