I just found out also that one of the kids is a 4 month old. I didn't occur to me until mom said how would you feel dancing with your groom for the first time and then hear a baby crying. The invite is from my parents so I'm going to have my mom call even though its on his side of the family. My FI is ticked off now because he doesn't see what the big deal is but its true I didn't invite other peoples family why should it be any different to them. I got it today and I want my mom to call tonight. She wants to be polite and call tomorrow I say they weren't polite when they wrote out the response. But something tells me they called my MIL and she probalby said sure no problem!! She's another winner. So now I'm fighting with my FI about this he feels one way about it and I feel another.

Sorry you're now fighting w/ FI. It's such a stressful time as it is.... who needs more stress? Guys really don't understand. I'm not inviting any 'babies' either. If I got a response w/ someone adding their kids or anyone that wasn't invited, I'd call. Your Mother will handle the phone call- it'll all work out.

No way in H**L would I allow it if I did not invite them.....There is NO WAY I will allow that....People should know and understand how difficult it is to make your list....Im sure if we were all Rockefeller...we wouldnt give a rats who we invite, but if you dont want kids at your wedding like me...I would not allow it and call them right away
