Someone gave us a blank card at our wedding. Completely blank, no 'Dear So and So' and not signed. But sealed. What a scam!!!

And there was nothing in the card ??? (like a check or a few benjamins?)

Nothing. The worst part is that I really think that it was someone on my side and not my husbands.

(of course we have no 'proof' of who it was, but we only had two non-gift givers..one on my side and one on his. And I can TOTALLY picture my cousin pulling a scam like this. Can you imagine the guts it takes to give someone a blank card with nothing in it!!

I think that is what happens... and sometimes the parents just put all the kids' names on the card. We got a gift from my aunt - she put all of her adult kids' names on it and their spouses and their children.

Maybe we should have just sent her one invitation for all of them!

This would piss me off.

wow.. that's so wrong!!! We had people give a small amount for big families. It's so frustrating.

I couldn't do that. I was actually speaking with my MIL last night and she said that this cousin broke up with the guy she brought to the wedding so she was only giving a gift from herself.

the more I think about this, the more pissed off I become. it's not even the $40. it's the fact that the beyotch didn't even speak to us at our wedding or introduce her boyfriend to us. Mind you our wedding was less than 60 people! it’s not like she couldn’t get to us if she wanted to!
