Re: One wedding at a time?

Timberpoint -- Great River.

It's where I'm having mine, for these three reasons:

1) I love a room with windows, without them I feel claustrophobic (sp) and stuffy, they have beautiful windows
2) when you look out the beautiful windows, I didn't want to see a main road, Timberpoint is on a beautiful golf course, and at night, it's cleared of golfters and leaves a beautiful view of the bay
3) I do NOT want to see another bride on my day, lol. I'm just kidding, I wanted the full attention of the staff, I didn't want party crashers, etc.

The place is beautiful, definately check it out!

Re: One wedding at a time?

The Hamlets in Hauppauge, Mount Sinai and Commack.
Lands End
Bourne Mansion
Lombardies on the Sound
I am not sure what and where you are looking for. All five of these places are very classy looking, not over done at all, which was important to me when I was looking. I got married at the Hamlet Wind Watch Hauppauge, and it was a great wedding, and the food was excellent.
