I would give it away immediately. I can't dispaly anything with hearts in my home with a good conciense.

my shower favor was a heart shaped measuring cup. it is in a box where it will remain. other people liked it though

I also received toasting flutes with hearts that I am thinking the reception hall will 'misplace'

Can you do a combo - frame and scratch off? That satisfies the cutesy and not-cutesy sides.

Or is that too expensive??

I love the frames, Donna, esp if you put a nice quote on it. I actually got one of those exact frames for a ridiculously low price when I ordered a TON of stuff from Things Remember .. they really are LOVELY in person!

Though I must say I also love scratch-off, too .. (prob. because we did scratch-offs as part of our favor and it was a BIG hit ) If the frames are cheap enough, maybe you can still to the scratch offs also (?)

I MUCH prefer the frame rather than a CD.. no offense to those of you who do it, but I really dislike the CD as a favor idea. It usually contains music I have no real interest in, and I honestly have never play anyone's CD favor more than one time before tossing it forever.. JMO

WOW...some strong opinions...but I asked

I know its personal taste, I always get disappointed when I get things like bowls
( have 3 of the same lenox bowl in my china cabinet right now) but I know the couple may have loved them...so we wanted something that would stand out and we are against anything edible...they are getting ENOUGH food at the wedding...lol.

Yes we are still doing the scratch off ticket, for those that dont know me on here, its a family thing, both FH and his brother won A very very substantial amount on Scratch off's in the past year and those are appropriate..

Now the reason I asked for opinions is because the retail price of these frames ( due to the Swavorski/Pave name) is $300....$800 with engraving...( for the amount we need) We can get them for $35 with free engraving...SO..I guess the question is how do you pass up something that is like 90% off...LOL....You dont, so we will go with them..

I wouldn't engrave anything. JMO
Makes them more 'universal' If someone likes the frame but dosent like the engraving they arent going to use it.

Im glad you said that because thats what we orignally thought...you could put two pics or just leave it...Im glad Im not the only one who thought to just leave it...

Can a favor be 'exciting'? LOL...Sorry..just kidding...Everyone has different taste so just find something you at least like a lot and go with it....If you find something you love, even better...

So many things are done over and over and so we are glad we went with the lotto tickets, these are just extras as they cost next to nothing...
