the front is classic...but not sexy

If you want a little jazz, you could go for a V-neck...but talk to a seemstress...they will (hopefully) be honest with you...If it will look right...

I trusted my seemstress to cut off my train...and they did a great job!

I really have to say, I like it the way it is. I think it would be too much if you had stuff in the front and back. Good luck with whatever you do, I would be petrified to change things.

I say don't make any decisions until you see how it looks after alterations. I like it how it is, sexy, but not overdone, but I agree, a v neck might look nice as well. Good luck!

I hope I was not too brutal, that was not my intent Anyway, maybe a keyhole then or something. IF you love it the way it is then leave it so. What about just making the neckline a little lower I love a neck Its up to you. You will be beautiful whether you change it or not.

The front is very elegant. very classy

I am a V neck type of girl so maybe talk to a seemstress and see if she can do something like that for you.

I think no matter what you decide to do it is a beautiful dress and you will look great in it.

Shamma you weren't to brutal I was just teasing. I need outside opinions and help that's why we post here. I appreciate everyone's honesty and help. Fact is..I'm not in love with the front i just don't know how to change it. Not really sure how to fix it?

Have you seen any front of dresses that you like or would like to have?? that is usually a good place to start, look at other dresses and take the pix with you to the seamstress and ask her what is feasible.

I think the dress is beautiful as is, and would be perfectly appropriate for the type of wedding you've described (which sounds wonderful, btw), but if you are not happy with it, maybe you should make a change. I think the girls here gave some great suggestions.

why dont you see if they can do the same treatment that they have on the backto the front low scoop with the shiffon look i will see if i can find a picture to illustrate give me a couple minutes.

if you want to utilize the material in the front they can make a v to give you cleavage, or if you scoop it and have it lay very femininely that would be easy for them to do but if you try to reconstruct the whole front of the dress you could run into running out of time or not likeing the end result. its what makes you happy and makes it easy for you to sleep at night. we can give you suggestions but it has to be what you want. if you have doubt now and are not happy do something about it. good luck

I like the dress, you also have to see it with a veil and tiara....that will really 'make it'!

I really like it the way it is. If you add all of the accessories it will look more bridal. I think it is perfect for a beach wedding.

I like your dress the way it is, just add a beautiful chocker and your veil, and you're good to go. I too agree....a double dash of sexy (front and back), don't do it for me-esp. for an informal wedding. I say add a chocker, a pretty bracelet, makeup...do your hair and you're good to go.

My dress is strapless, but similar, plain in front with all of the detail in back. Also, all of the fancy back dresses I've seen are like that. I think it's the same as the rule that if you play up your eyes play down your mouth...decide which area to emphasis and stick with it.

I also think your dress is beautiful as is. You could also put your hair up and puts some flowers in it, which would make it look really elegant.
